Running on Rooftops: The Comic Book Adaptation Podcast

Jan 16, 2017

Darryl and Phil are back together to review the first regular show to come back for the winter: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Time Codes

  • 00:00 - Intro
  • 00:53 - Agents of Shield is back/ We still miss Agent Carter
  • 09:26 - First thing we liked
  • 15:10 - Second thing we liked
  • 21:04 - Third thing we liked
  • 28:44 - Fourth thing we liked
  • 31:13 - First thing we didn't like
  • 37:39 - Second thing we didn't like
  • 38:59 - Rankings
  • 41:52 - Outro
Stuff we did like:
  1. We liked how Mace was much more proactive in this episode, he really wanted to help Daisy and Simmons, and didn’t care about the consequences from the senator were going to be.
  2.  Coulson and Mac speak so much truth. I’m so happy they are actually to wipe the mind of the robot that’s seen the unthinkable evil of the Darkhold. Also, all of Mac's references were a delight.
  3. The Radcliffe twist was very well done.
  4.  Slingshot, both her character and the web series are a delightful addition to the series.
Stuff we didn’t like:
  • The whole Senator Nadeer brother plot was very silly, almost too silly
  • I wish Daisy kept the heavy eye shadow. It was a nice look
