Running on Rooftops celebrated our second anniversary this year, and to celebrate we are doing a number of interviews on the idea of fandom. We will be conducting a few interviews with some people in the online comic book community about doing geeky things and what being a fan means to them. These interviews will go over what they do, why they do it, and how they've grown from the experience.
Lord Mesa Interview
We had the pleasure
of interviewing Lord Mesa, a fantastic and prolific artist who's
work has been seen all over the web. You may have seen him post his
reactions to the previous night's CW show, or saw him at Hero's and
Villians Fan Fest, but we had the chance to talk to him about being
a fan. We talk about his art, his stylistic inspirations, and a bit
of advice for any artist listening. We also talk about how being a
fan opened him up to opportunities to meet stars and give back to
